Valentyna Landar

At the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Valentina made the decision to leave her homeland to save her family from the horrors of war. Together with her son, daughter, and two beloved cats, they headed to Germany in search of a secure future. Despite the challenges and uncertainties, Valentina did not lose hope and determination.

Valentina understood that mastering the German language was crucial for successful integration. Upon arrival, she completed an integration course in German to adapt more quickly to the new country and culture. Despite currently working in a factory, Valentina continues to learn and improve her language skills through specialized courses. She diligently works to provide for her family and create a better future for them.

In Ukraine, Valentina worked as a web designer, so she fully understood the importance of art in people's lives. In Germany, she decided to utilize her skills by creating a website for an exhibition of Ukrainian female artists. This was not only a way to support talented artists from her homeland but also an opportunity to find her place in a new culture, as having hobbies now is vital.

In addition to web design, Valentina is also involved in ceramics and painting to soothe her soul and enjoy creativity. Back in high school, she completed the Children's Academy of Arts in Ukraine, which became an integral part of her life. For her, art became not only a form of self-expression but also a way to find inner peace during difficult times and a means to console herself in the toughest moments.
