Oleksandra Kirichevska
Alexandra Kirichevskaia, a resident of Irpen, a city in the Kiev region of Ukraine, found herself caught in the whirlwind of change with the onset of the war in her homeland. However, despite the difficulties, she found the strength to build a new life. Today, Alexandra resides in the German town of Loibsdorf and actively engages in the integration and exploration of German culture.
In her forced emigration, Alexandra decided to take advantage of the opportunities provided and start studying on integration courses. These courses help her adapt to the new environment, understand local customs, traditions, and language.
The offer to attend a painting course for Ukrainian women particularly inspired Alexandra. After all, her interest in art began long before moving to Germany. In Ukraine, Alexandra attended courses on "Petrikivka painting," a traditional Ukrainian craft known for its vibrant patterns and folk motifs. Now, for her, it is a way to maintain a connection with her native culture and traditions.
Alexandra also has an interest in photography. She discovered that drawing and photography are universal languages that help her organize her thoughts. Drawing has become a means of self-expression and an escape from everyday worries for her. Photography, on the other hand, allows her to see and capture the beauty of the world around her.
While living in Germany, Alexandra actively participates in the local cultural life, visiting exhibitions and events. She also finds inspiration in the surrounding nature and beautiful landscapes, which she often photographs and incorporates into her creative work.
