Today we drew inspiring sea motifs that allowed each participant to show their creative nature and embody their vision of the seascape on canvas.
We got a variety of seascapes, like the sea itself. Some artists chose calm landscapes with sunsets and sandy beaches, while others chose to depict powerful waves crashing against the rocks. Each participant had the freedom to be creative and could bring her imagination to life on canvas.
The lesson also included a demonstration of various drawing and painting techniques that helped the artists create sea water effects, shades of blue and the play of light on an undulating surface.
